Voting to Impeach Bush
I was sent links to the following sites,which I passed on to others who might wish to add their names.

What makes my decision to participate in these votes even more meaningful to me is the fear that I experienced as I cast my votes. I thought, if Bush gets his way and the country continues in the vain it has under his administration and more power and funding is given to secretive and invasive security measures, I could be blacklisted for my action or even accused of treason. This is because I feel this administration is truly moving closer to a dictatorship every day and a return to McCarthyism seems like real possibility.
Since the Bush administration has taken over, I have never felt so powerless and unheard in the political arena. I have never been so distrustful of "the system." I feel I live in a time when there is a real threat to democracy in America and my "freedom" and "rights as a citizen" has taken serious blows.
I believe Bush, if he could, would sacrifice most Americans in order to increase his power, wealth, and agression. He does not care about what people without influence think or want. He would eagerly cut off all forms of aid to the poor in order to free up resources to increase the wealth and power of the rich so that America would be run more like a wealthy aristocracy in which his corporations, secret security councils and other private regimes would maintain ultimate power over the remaining peons.
If allowed, he would quickly turn our government into a fundamentalist, right-wing theocracy in which anyone who disagreed with his religious views would be punished or executed. I'm guessing he has wet dreams over gassing any and all environmentalists. And, greatest of all, he could build-up his weapons of mass destruction and rampage through the rest of the world in a spirit of manifest destiny, eating up the countries he deems useful to his own advantage. And he would do it because he believes it's the right thing to do and it would be for our own good. (I once knew someone just like him who was a paranoid schizophrenic. I recognize the way of thinking.)
Then he could declare himself King, or Ruler, or Emperor, or Whatever it is they call Saddam Hussein.
